History Of Association The Distribution & LTL Carriers Association, and its predecessor associations, have 60 years of history of successfully representing LTL trucking companies. This association was formed in 1996, through the consolidation of the Regional and Distribution Carriers Conference and Regular Common Carrier Conference, both of which were founded in 1938 to promote the interests and profitability of their trucking company members. Through its Board of Directors, this association represents a broad spectrum of local, regional and interregional carriers which operate throughout the United States.
